Thank you for booking Villa Suncani, our beautiful stone villa overlooking the Bay of Kotor in Prčanj, Montenegro. We have recently upgraded every aspect of the villa to provide our guests with a luxurious experience in a stunning setting. The villa features two independent apartments on different levels (only one is available for rent), each with separate entrances, private gardens, and terraces. The only shared amenity is the heated saltwater swimming pool, which offers panoramic views of Kotor Bay.
Please take any trash and bottles down to the public trash containers located at the bottom of the coastal road. Prčanj does not recycle yet, so there is no need to separate the waste.
Please leave the house key and the remote control on the kitchen table when you leave. Just open the gate beforehand and send us a message to let us know you are departing.
Please turn off all air conditioners and lights before leaving. It would be appreciated if you could also place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on.
Villa Suncani is located on Ulica Šarena Gomila, just off the Jadranska Magistrala E65 in Prčanj, 5 km from Kotor. Follow the coastal road, passing by Mademoiselle Restaurant and then Dado Mini Market, then turn left onto Ulica Šarena Gomila to ascend the hill. See the photo below, which shows the start of the hill and the seafront across the street. As you drive up the hill, you will see the villa, gate, large parking area, and our sign on the left side.
If you are travelling from the Tivat direction, you will need to turn around before going up the hill. Do not attempt to turn onto the hill; drive a short distance forward and turn around where you can safely access the hill. The road to the house is steep and one-way, so always exercise caution and check for oncoming traffic. If someone is coming down, please wait for them to pass before you drive up. The road to the villa is paved; however, please be aware that it is steep and may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues, particularly if you are walking or using local transportation. When it rains, the road can also become challenging and slippery if your vehicle lacks good tires and traction.

Driving in Montenegro can be a bit stressful during the summer, and the traffic can be quite chaotic. If you choose to rent a car, I recommend booking with AVIS or Hertz and getting comprehensive insurance. Check the link below for essential information if you plan to cross the border.
There are many taxis available; the most important thing is to ensure that you have a data plan for your mobile phone so that you can call one via WhatsApp. The local taxi service, Red Taxi, is very reliable.
There are plenty of taxis available at the airport, but if you don't want to wait in a long queue, it's always best to plan ahead and book a transfer beforehand.
Blueline MNE is a bus company based in Montenegro. It provides services in three countries: Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia, with departures from cities such as Dubrovnik, Kotor, and Tivat.
There is now a fast ferry service between Dubrovnik, Croatia, and Montenegro (3 hours to Kotor). The ferry is a passenger-only service that operates once a day and does not allow cars or pets.
Montenegro is not part of the EU, so your EU data roaming plan will not work in Montenegro. To avoid excessively high roaming charges, we strongly recommend purchasing a SIM card or, even better, an eSIM for Montenegro before your trip. The number of guests is limited to 4 individuals and is restricted to registered guests only. Due to the pool layout, location, and other factors, please understand that the villa is not suitable for young children.
Smoking inside the villa is strictly prohibited. Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area. Please dispose of your cigarette butts in the provided ashtray, not on the terrace or in the garden area.
The pool is heated during cooler months and cooled during warmer months. Please shower before using the pool. The pool is shared with the owners who reside in the apartment below the villa. Kindly respect the shared areas and leave your towels and swimsuits to dry in the large pergola designated for the villa, not lying around the pool area.
Special dishes are available for outdoor use. Please do not use breakable glassware near the pool. An electric outdoor grill is available; just send us a message in advance, and we will gladly set it up. Please clean the electric grill after using.
The gardens provide breathtaking views and showcase a variety of fruit trees, as well as areas for relaxation and sunbathing on the available lounge chairs and beach towels. Please only use the towels and pillows designated for outdoor use located in the wardrobe of the first bedroom.
We love pets, but we kindly ask that you restrict your stay to one small dog and contact us for prior approval. We have a very friendly West Highland Terrier who resides with us in the fenced private area below the villa.
Please close the windows when using the air conditioners and turn them off upon leaving the villa. To keep the house cool while you are away, it is advised to close the window shutters.
Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am. You are welcome to enjoy the lovely terrace and swimming pool as late as you wish; we just ask that you keep the noise down.
We kindly ask that you respect the fact that the pool and overnight stays are limited to registered guests. Furthermore, we must stress that parties and large gatherings are strictly prohibited to ensure a peaceful environment for all our guests.

The TV is connected to Wi-Fi and the cable box. There are two remote controls: one to turn on the TV and the other labeled with a T to turn on the T-Mobile cable box.
An iron, ironing board, and drying rack are provided.
IONIC Hair Dryer, along with shampoo and conditioner, is provided. If you need additional hairstyling tools, just let us know.

Montenegro has two international airports. Tivat (TIV) is the closest airport, located just 13 km away, while Podgorica Airport (TGD) is 84 km away.
There are three grocery stores within walking distance of the villa. The closest is Dado Mini Market, which is less than a five-minute walk away.
Montenegro features some of the most beautiful beaches along the stunning Adriatic coast. Always bring water shoes, as the beaches can be rocky.
Montenegro has 3 ferry ports: Budva, Bar, and Kotor. Ferries to Montenegro operate from Bari and Ancona in Italy, as well as from Dubrovnik, Croatia.
There are many restaurants within walking distance from the Villa. Konoba Vila Marija Prcanj and Mademoiselle are two of our favourites.
