Situated near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kotor Old Town, the Kotor Cable Car offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Kotor and is an excellent way to experience both the historical charm of Kotor and the natural beauty of Lovćen National Park. The ride takes about 11 minutes and covers a distance of 3,900 meters, ending at Kuk village on Mount Lovćen, which rises to an impressive 1,348 meters above sea level.
Where Does Kotor Cable Car Start?
The Lower Dub Station is on the other side of the Vrmac tunnel, toward the roundabout that connects Tivat to Kotor and Budva. If you are driving, there is lots of paid parking available. Otherwise, you will need to arrange for a taxi for drop-off and pick-up. Local buses do not stop at the Kotor Cable Car.
