In the charming coastal town of Prčanj, Montenegro, visitors will find a variety of convenient amenities. The area boasts a well-stocked supermarket, several convenience stores, and a delightful bakery offering an impressive range of artisan breads. Most of these stores are just a short walk from the local accommodations, making it easy for guests to access everything they need during their stay.

Pekara Prcanj

While in Montenegro, you’ll soon discover that “Pekara” translates to bakery. In the charming village of Prcanj, there’s a delightful bakery located along the main coastal road, Jadranska magistrala. During the summer, this bakery operates every day of the week. We enjoy taking our Westie, Pedro, for a morning walk to Pekara Prcanj to pick up fresh bread and delicious treats.

City Market (Aroma)

Situated along the main coastal route, Jadranska magistrala, adjacent to the Pekara (bakery), is the City Market. This small convenience store operates from Monday to Saturday, between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, providing essential items such as fresh fruits and vegetables. Parking is limited, so it is advisable to walk to the store if possible.

Dado Mini Market

Just 400 meters from our vacation rental, Villa Suncani, Dado Market is conveniently located along the main coastal road, Jadranska magistrala. Open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, the market offers a variety of essential items, including fresh fruits and vegetables. While there are a few parking spaces available across from the store, walking is recommended.

City Market (Aroma) Donji Stoliv

Located just a short distance from Prčanj in Donji Stoliv, next to the Hyatt Hotel, is the largest supermarket in the area, easily accessible on foot. Open from Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, this small supermarket offers an impressive variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with freshly baked goods, a deli section, and quality meats. Additionally, the selection of wine and alcoholic beverages is very good. Prices here are competitive, comparable to those found in the larger towns of Kotor and Tivat.
