This historic church, which dates back to before the village relocated to the coast in the 17th century, was first recorded in 1399 as Santa Maria de Parzana. Although there is a hiking trail leading to the church, it has become quite overgrown due to the lack of visitors. We haven’t embarked on this hike yet, but it’s definitely on our agenda, so stay tuned for updates!

Ivo Vizin, a Croatian naval captain and explorer, made history as the first Croat to sail around the world aboard the ship Splendido from 1852 to 1859.
